Old Stock from a kayak pro shop hoard. This back support is new-old stock or used, expect some minor cosmetic damage and signs or use. It is perfectly serviceable.
The Classic Perception Seat Back Support is best used as a replacement part for broken or lost seat back support for an older Perception kayak, such as the Perception Captiva or Aquaterra Sea Lion, circa turn of the century. This seat back would have had a Neoprene slip cover with the Perception logo on it. It has two prominent nipples on the back side, earlier version did not but is the same and fits the same slot molded into the seat bottom structure. PERRECTOUR
The STS Seat Back Pad can be used as a replacement seat back cover. This sort of seat back likely adjusts with a rope and cleat or sometime a with a strap. A bungee and hook will be needed on the in the rear side to secure the back part to bottom part.
Seat Back measures 14.25 inches side to side. Back is 10 inches high and can be cut down by an inch if needed.
